About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. My research focuses on cryptography with a special interest in zero-knowledge proofs and secure multi-party computation. I aim to design and develop real-world cryptographic primitives and systems — cryptography should be easily, efficiently, and securely accessible for everyone, including those with “zero knowledge” in the field.

Piror to joining U of T, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the CIS Lab at NTT Research, hosted by Vipul Goyal. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where I was fortunate to be advised by Vladimir Kolesnikov, and my B.Eng. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
